a 50-year veteran of the television and film industry. We are a truly independent TV production company known not just for creating award-winning drama, but also for our commitment in nurturing new talent and showcasing the wealth of creativity - both on and off camera - which exists in the glorious North West.

Producer/ Head of Production
Donna is an experienced producer and line producer who has been making consistent and compelling broadcast film and television for over 15 years. Her numerous credits include ‘Reg’ (BBC1), ‘Common’ (BBC1) and ‘Moving On’ (BBC1). She is also the producer of ‘Broken’; LA Productions’ six-part, prime-time drama series starring Sean Bean and Channel 5Star’s first original drama series, ‘Clink’.
Head of Development/ Script Editor
Sarah oversees LA’s development slate and is also the Script Editor and a scriptwriter (Moving On, Clink).
From concept to commission, Sarah works with writers to get their scripts to the best place possible, and also sources new writing and originates new series ideas.

Head of Post
Patrick is a craft editor with over 20 years of experience. Passionate about story-telling and post-production, he heads both the in-house team as well as the freelance crew. Managing the boutique state of the art suites, pioneering new workflows and providing services both internally and to an expanding list of external clients.
Christian Francis Davies
Head of Factual
Christian is the Head of LA Factual, the documentary arm of LA Productions. Christian oversees development of ideas through to commission. He also produces and directs many of LA Factual programmes, including the 2019 Sky Arts documentary - The Cavern Club: The Beat Goes On, the upcoming BBC film - Spitting Out Fire and BBC Three series - Nail Bar Boys.
